ill stop being a ten-year old boy, i promise. these arab commercials are pretty funny, not gonna lie. im getting a lot better with cards. i can play hand somewhat decently. dont wanna boast ^_^. azn face. dum. shoot me if i ever do that again.
friday, the towjihi scores came out. towjihi is the test high school students here take that determine the rest of their lives. occupation-wise. which affects everything else in your life unfortuanately. like your whole life. some of our cousins are of age and they all passed. congraturations to cousin aya, cousin mau3tesim, cousin sereen and distant cousin yazeed. they had parties, fireworks, they waz cool. the jordanians shoot guns in the air for tradition. the bedouin type jordanians. the OG jordanians. the OJordanians.
just bought some delicious bread and various delicous sweets that fatten me. bashka was nice. earlier today (6ish- about 21 minus 12 i dont feel like subtracting right now ish) we went to dabkeh (traditional dance) jerusalem production type thing. my mother's friend has been putting it together for 20 years now. they perform skits of traditional palestinian singing and dancing to keep the culture alive. it was an experience to say the least. entertaining, uprooting my roots, etc. the music was nice. here's a picture of one of the dances. ahmad took some videos for me but im not even going to try to upload them when just watching a 5 min. youtubez vid takes about half an hour.
it wasnt my favorite dance but they were all good. these turkish soap operas are getting out of hand. i swear ive seen each episode at least ten times but i still dont know the whole story. its not a hard story to follow, but each episodes about an hour long. so maybe ive never actually finished a whole episode. anyway, i think i saw muhannad's face on a poster today. i couldnt tell cause his head was tilted to the side so i only saw his side-face profile. even if it wasnt him everyone thinks it is so it is him. at least i do. it was for some random company and he was holding a piece of paper. people like him here more than they even know who he is in turkey. you can advertise anything here with soccer or muhannad and make millions. like we have posters like this all over the place

oh girl
and now all the guys in amman want to grow out their hair and being shirtless will soon be socially accepted. those are just two examples. its amazing how people can be manipulated. happens to americans too but were too lazy to notice it on ourselves. i am at least. cant wait for ramadan for that show "bab al hara" (door of the neyba-hood) to start up again. too bad i wont be here till then to experience the phenomenon. ok thats enough for today. keep it real. and stay fresh and stay away from creeps like cem/taym or tayn
